Thank you for choosing our Chinese classes for your children! We will try our best to make the school experience as positive as possible. To achieve that, we need your help!
As a non-profit organization, our resources are really limited. The school is run by a few non-paid volunteers, and we couldn’t have survived without the help from parents. If you want to help, here’s what we are asking you to do:
1. The classrooms are provided by WVU Continuing Education. It is everyone’s responsibility to keep the rooms clean and in order. Please remind your child(ren) to read the Student Code of Conduct and keep the rooms and adjacent area intact. You may also help with cleaning up after school.
2. To ensure the safety of the children, we ask at least one parent volunteer be present when school is in session. This volunteer is expected to watch the children (especially at break time), and escort them to the bathrooms. We will talk about the volunteer schedule at the first day of class.
3. We ask all parents to agree to our liability waiver. By signing up our child in our classes, you fully understand the dangers associated with your child’s participation in the activities sponsored by Morgantown Chinese School, and therefore assume full responsibility for all risks, including body injury, death or property damage. You release, waive and discharge Morgantown Chinese School and WVU, including its directors, officials, administrators, teachers, staff, agents, and the facility, from any and all liabilities.
4. We need your comments and suggestions. Your feedback will be a great addition to the class!
Thank you again, let’s work together to make the class a success!
